Trainign Description:
This training was developed to empower educators with an introduction to the needs of youth who identify as LGBTQ+. Participants will learn to understand basic terminology and definitions with an introduction to the Queer Alphabet LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning), sexual orientation, and gender identity which will help foster inclusive language and create safe spaces.
- This is a virtual half-day session.
- An in-person half-day option is offered on Thursday morning.
