Resilience Forward: Virtual Session

This virtual workshop is focused on the link between teacher practices and positive youth development.  The training is anchored in a brief review of research on the formation of protective factors and resiliency traits and the instructional practices that promote self-resilience and persistence skills of the learner.  The training provides an overview of how integrating instructional practices to promote students’ skills in the following areas:  relationship/attachment skills, self-regulation, academic agency, collaboration and healthy habits (self-care / personal wellness) and provides context for how these efforts lead to improved outcomes over the lifespan.
